iPEACE223 Certified as a Tokyo Tech Venture

On September 1, 2023, iPEACE223 was officially awarded the designation of “Tokyo Tech Venture No. 156” and participated in the certification ceremony.

The ethylene-to-propylene conversion technology based on zeolite catalysts that forms the foundation of iPEACE223’s business was developed by Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation. The technology is also the outcome of a longstanding collaborative research effort between Mitsubishi Chemical and Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech).

As part of its commitment to advancing this technology toward commercialization, iPEACE223 has welcomed Professor Toshiyuki Yokoi as its Chief Science Officer (CSO). Professor Yokoi serves as Associate Professor and Research Unit Leader of the Nano-Space Catalyst Research Unit at the Institute of Innovative Research, Tokyo Institute of Technology.

With the support of leading academic and industrial expertise, iPEACE223 will continue to accelerate the development and commercialization of innovative zeolite catalyst technologies, contributing to a more sustainable and carbon-neutral chemical industry.
